BRENTWOOD, TENN., PharmPsych.com editorial team launches two new sections to spotlight and recognize the captains of the medical industry, especially the field of pharmacy — “MediPreneurs” and “PharmaPreneurs” — as a subset of the website’s “News” section.
The online medical community and portal welcomes “MediPreneurs” and “PharmaPreneurs,” two new vehicles for profiling the “movers and shakers” in the field of pharmacy, other white-collar medical specialties and the allied health professions.
“MediPreneurs” is a regular news feature that takes a question-and-answer-interview-styled snapshot of a leader, manager or business owner in a particular medical specialty or allied health profession and his or her goals, achievements and plans to improve the quality and delivery of community health.
“PharmaPreneurs” is a likeminded feature that profiles individuals in the field of pharmacy only. The focus is on pharmacists who lead relevant professional trade associations and groups, businesses or thriving private practices.
Visitors to PharmPsych.com can easily access “MediPreneurs” and “PharmaPreneurs” under the Home dropdown box of the website and below the News section. The goal is to make the profiles a regular weekly feature.
The company’s founder and CEO and its Managing Editor, F. Zaria Chinelo, PharmD, said she is pleased with the changes and anticipates more as the fiscal year progresses.
Chinelo is a pharmacist, artist, scientist, and entrepreneur. She possesses six years of experience in teaching education, and web development. Chinelo holds dual degrees in molecular biology and general chemistry. After being hired by Vanderbilt University, she led urban students to academic success before starting the nonprofit Felicity Motivational Group. She has been honored as a National Merit Scholar and by Texas Instruments for her achievements.
